ETIOLOGY. Heart energy governs the blood vessels and the circulation of blood, it also houses the mind and clarity of thought. The heart energy can become deficient with chronic illnesses, serious loss of blood, insufficient natural endowment, heart surgery, cardiac disorders, excessive over thinking, and worry, over taxation and even emotional distress such as prolonged sadness. Uncontrolled excessive outbursts of joy have been known to suddenly injure the heart energy. The heart begins to wean with age.
SYMPTOMS. Palpitations, shortness of breath, nervousness, forgetfulness. Insomnia, nightmares, fever, dizziness, cold limbs, sweating, pallor, tiredness, listlessness, anxiety. Poor memory or loss of short term memory, scattered and confused mind, inability to focus. Weak spirit.
CONDITIONS. Heat disease, arteriosclerosis, shock, neurosis, anemia, depression
